An event for females interested in financial services TBC - September 2018

There are many popular misconceptions about the world of financial services: that it’s full of huge, lumbering organisations; that it’s cut-throat, set in its ways and dominated by men. This 3.5 hour event, for female students, is designed to set the record straight. And open your mind to internship opportunities with some of the more enlightened and progressive banks.

If personal integrity is a quality you admire and early responsibility is something you crave, this could be the event for you. If you want to work with an organisation where your ideas matter, your opinions are valued and your contribution is recognised, the insights you’ll gain and the people you’ll meet at this event will point you in the right direction.

Careers Website:

Stand Out is a financial services insight event for female undergraduates in their first, second or third year at university.

Careers in financial services are always extremely challenging. And competition for internships is generally quite fierce. With that in mind, we do expect a certain level of academic achievement (320 UCAS points, and predicted a 2:1 or above to be precise).

You needn’t be studying for a finance-related degree. In the past, students from other backgrounds – notably those studying STEM subjects – have proved to be every bit as successful.

The next STAND OUT event will take place in September 2018. If you would like to find out when applications open, please register your interest using the form below.  If you have any other questions now or in the run up to the event, feel free to email
